I just started my textured hair journey this year. I was born with straight hair. My gray hair has texture. My hair has been frizzy and I got tired of it. My research to deal with that lead me to my curly 2a-3a hair. I have always been a minimalist with my hair. Curly hair is so high maintenance! I'm working on a minimalist approach to my curls.

Wow! I have always felt like my hair could do this and I have played with some products. But I have never been big on spending a lot of time in the bathroom. Your hair is incredible and mine could be like this. I just need motivation. With high humidity mine will sometimes get one tight ringlet. Just like someone had used a curling iron on it! So I have no clue what number my curls or wavys are. But they could certainly be amazing. One of the other videos I watched said she never brushed hers dry. Would you agree with that? Thanks for sharing this. Hopefully I can make some progress with this. I hate blow drying my hair. Is it possible to not do that step?

I have the same hair type as you and my curls are usually stringy and not defined at all in the back and lack volume in the roots. I don’t rlly know what products are the best for my hair either as it is thick and goes to my lower back. Is there anything you recommend product wise?? Ty!

damn one big big thing I learned about my products is that as a 2c-2a girly, ive been using keratin shampoo and that is exactly what is stumping me bc I didnt know keratin straightens and stretches hair. Thank you ladies ! subbed <3
